Get Ready For Your Onboarding Call

Congratulations — you've been accepted into the RealityShow.com program. Your first call is coming up. Here's how to prepare and what we're going to talk about.

You're going to do great
PREP
Before Your Call
Takes about 10 minutes. Do this before we meet.
TIP
Camera & On-Screen Presence
A few quick things that make a big difference.

Be yourself

Don't perform. The whole point of your show is YOUR real personality. Relax, be natural, have fun with it.

Look at the camera sometimes

When you're making a point, look at the camera lens — not the screen. It creates eye contact for whoever watches later.

Use your hands

Talk with your hands like you normally would. It makes you more engaging on camera. Make sure they're in frame.

Don't sit in front of a window

A bright window behind you turns your face dark. Face the window instead, or move to a different spot.

Your Story — Where It All Started
We want to hear where you came from and what made you who you are.
About 10 minutes
2.1 Take me back. Where did you grow up, and what was life like for you as a kid?
2.2 What were you into as a kid? Were you the class clown, the quiet one, the athlete, the hustler selling candy in the hallway?
2.3 Was there a moment or a person growing up that made you think "I'm going to do something big"?
2.4 What did your family think about what you wanted to do? Were they supportive, skeptical, or completely against it?
2.5 When did you first start making money on your own? What was that first hustle or business?
2.6 What pulled you into the industry you're in now? Was it planned or did you fall into it?
2.7 If you could go back and tell your younger self one thing about the path ahead, what would it be? Don't overthink this — just say whatever comes to mind first.
03
Your Goals — Where You're Going
What does winning look like for you?
About 8 minutes
3.1 Fast forward 3 years. Everything goes right. What does your life look like? Be specific — what are you doing on a random Tuesday at 2pm?
3.2 What's the business goal? Revenue number, team size, locations, products — give me the dream version.
3.3 Why does this matter to you beyond the money? What's the deeper reason you're building this?
3.4 Who are you trying to prove wrong? Or who are you trying to make proud?
3.5 What does being "known" mean to you? When you think about having a reality show and a personal brand — what does that actually change for your business?
3.6 If I told you we could only accomplish ONE thing in the next 6 months, what would you want it to be? This is your #1 priority. Be clear about this one.
3.7 What would make you say "this was worth every penny" at the end of the program?
04
Your Journey — What You Overcame
The hard stuff. What you've been through is what makes your story powerful.
About 8 minutes
4.1 What's the hardest thing you've ever been through — personally or professionally?
4.2 Was there a moment where you almost quit? Where you thought "this isn't going to work"?
4.3 What kept you going? What was the thing that made you get back up?
4.4 Did that experience change how you run your business or how you show up in the world?
4.5 Is there anything in your past that most people don't know about you that shaped who you are?
4.6 If someone is going through what you went through right now, what would you tell them? Only share what you're comfortable with. The more real you are, the more people will connect with your story.
05
Your People — The Cast

About 8 minutes
5.1 Who are the most important people in your life right now? Walk me through your inner circle.
5.2 Do you have a business partner, co-founder, or right-hand person? Tell me about them — what's the dynamic?

5.4 Is there anyone in your life who people would find entertaining or interesting on camera? The funny friend, the brutally honest mentor, the competitor?
5.5 Who are your clients or customers? What kind of people do you serve? Tell me about your favorite client story.
5.6 Do you have any rivals, competitors, or people who push you? Not enemies — but people who make you sharper?
5.7 What does a normal day look like for you? Walk me through yesterday from when you woke up to when you went to bed.
